Tonka XT Ricochet Trickster Review

Our family loves all things remote: television, key less entry, and remote control vehicles. That is why we were super pumped to try out the new Tonka XT Ricochet Trickster R/C. There are 3 types: the "Zig-Zag Jolt", "Rampage Flip", and "Buzzsaw Spin", we were able to test out the "Buzzsaw Spin".

This green/black and blue/orange battery operated truck has provided lots of fun for the kids. It goes around in all different directions but the coolest thing is once it hits a wall, it flips itself over and comes back. It also does its signature move-the buzzsaw spin, where it does a super spin around and around.

The Ricochet Trickster is not without its down sides though. This remote control car is only for use indoors so that was kind of rough on the kids cause they wanted to take it outside to play in the grass and street. If you do take it outside the signal is very weak so you have to stay very close to the actual truck in order for it to work. Inside is not a problem because you are kind of forced to stay close. It also does not keep a charge for very long at all.

Overall William (11), Kiersten (8) and my oldest kid who is also my husband (33-lol) really enjoyed it.

Loving the Family Life rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
