I Challenge YOU to Sweeten Your Words!!!

Recently I had the honor and privilege to write a couple of pieces for the online community Sweeten Your Words (SYW). An online magazine, Sweeten Your Words is committed to inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds to take responsibility for the impact that their words carry. They offer a forum for expressing positive thoughts and actions, with proceeds from advertising going to a passionate anti-bullying campaign. The overall goal of SYW is to “make giving back business as usual”. It is a partnership between business and their readers to impact the causes we care about.
From Jessica Alba to Matt Damon, SYW does celebrity interviews in their entertainment forum in addition to other forums that specialize in health and beauty, food and travel, family, environment, astrology and more. In another section, Tina Meier's Corner, we hear from the renowned anti cyber-bullying advocate who lost her own daughter Megan (13) to cyber-bullying 5 years ago.

Burt's Bee's is the Beez-Neez!!

For years I have gone without washing my face. There is a very simple reason for this: I have not found a product I like.

I have tried several products. One face-wash dried my skin, while another made it oily. Every moisturizer I tried would clog my pores, and create a weird type of sweating experience. I would get blotchy spots or rashes.

I am working as a BzzAgent now and was able to try the Burt's Bees Natural Skin Solutions for Sensitive Skin line and I am not lying when I tell you I LOVE IT! The facial wash is very thick and creamy and feels great on my skin. The moisturizer does not clog my pores and feels amazing as well.

My Article Was Published!!!

It was with great excitement that I share with you all my very first printed article on "Sweeten Your Words" (SYW). "Sweeten Your Words" is an online magazine that is committed to providing awareness to people of all ages in realizing the power of their words.

Supporting such agencies as The Megan Meier Foundation, "Sweeten Your Words" is passionate about taking a stand against bullying of all types. It is also passionate about helping to make giving back "business as usual".

I am honored to present my first piece entitled "Living with ADHD" as a personal testament to the Family and Parenting forum of the SYW magazine. I hope to expand my involvement with SYW in the months and years to come and hope that you all will join me.

BrytonPick Floss Review!!!

This past week I had the opportunity to review BrytonPick floss, the first string free floss. BrytonPick floss is reusable and portable. So portable in fact that it comes in a credit card size carry pouch that I keep in my wallet. It is great for people that hate to floss and people that have braces or Invisalign.

My family personally tried the BrytonPick floss and had mixed feelings. On the one hand, the convenience of this product is definitely a plus. It is also something that can be used over and over again, as the package says "reusable up to 30 days". That is a plus as well.

On the other hand, it just felt weird in between my teeth, like I was using foil or an aluminum can in between my teeth. It almost hurt. If done right though, it does fit its purpose. When my 11 year old tried it, he cut his gum with it so you do have to be very careful although you would have to be careful with regular floss as well.

I do think this is an acquired taste, if you have fillings I would not recommend using it. It is very convenient and seems like it would be more valuable than regular floss.
